Dr. Kathrine Manning - Dentist
Hello and welcome to Grin and Bear It. We chose this name because although we take our work seriously, we still want to encourage an atmosphere of fun and congeniality. My name is Dr. Kathrine Manning and I am your dentist. I was born in Schenectady, New York and raised in Anaheim, California. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art form California State University at Fullerton. I love creatively working with my hands and enjoy expanding my knowledge base by learning new things. This is where the practice of dentistry brought it all together for me. I have worked in a dental laboratory, earned my Registered Dental Assistant's license in California where I worked for my family dentist, then moved to Oregon in 1984 where I attended Oregon Health Sciences University and earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and later a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in dentistry. While at Oregon Health Sciences University, I met my husband, Dr. Neil Gray. We were blessed with three wonderful boys, Sterling, 20 and our twins, Gannon and Remington, 16. I love spending time with my family, especially at the dinner table, as my husband was a fabulous cook. Staying physically active is in my blood. I love being outdoors and doing anything sports or gardening wise that takes me there. I also enjoy exercise of almost any kind and have weight trained for years. We look forward to having you as part of our dental family.
